suit all Boogie amps that use the EL84/6BQ5
tubes in their output stage.
These will work in any valve amplifier that is designed to
take EL84/6BQ5 in the output stage but are particular tested and
screened to match the Boogie amps with non adjustable bias.
The MESA EL-84 / 6BQ5 is the little brother to the EL-34
and is the classic European designed tube that lead the British
invasion.
Our EL-84 is tight and aggressive, yet smooth and warm,
with an amazing chiming mid and top end.
