The YTR1335 features many of the qualities of Yamaha's top-of-the-line models, like medium weight tubing, pro bore and bell size for increased tonal core and a comfortable, efficient response. The Yamaha YTR1335 trumpet, based on the highly regarded Yamaha professional range, is made with the new student in mind and features a medium-large bore to help with tone quality and projection. As a result, the transition between different models within this range is easier because the playing technique doesn't need to alter. The mouthpiece of the YTR 1335 has also had some time spent on it and now has a slightly shallower cup offering the player a little extra resistance, enabling them to reach the higher notes with better intonation.
